Claire Kittle has her PhD in WAG dressing. And now, ahead of the Super Bowl, the wife of San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle is revealing her secret to making sure she's always dressed to impress — while repping her man.

"I look for pieces that stand out to me and if I love them, I know that at some point throughout the season, I'm going to put a look together with it," Claire, tells PEOPLE, about her inspiration for her game day looks.

"So it's not necessarily created look to look," she adds. "I kind of just keep my eyes peeled for what finds me and what I love and then I try to create a look out of that one piece."

When searching for pieces Claire, 29, explains that she seeks out vintage shops to find retro T-shirts and bomber jackets. She adds that since George began playing on the 49ers in 2017 she's accumulated an impressive wardrobe of red-and-gold items.

"I try to find things they had in the eighties because I think that's such an iconic look and they don't recreate things like that well anymore," she says.

When it comes to her game day routine, the University of Iowa alum explains how she always sets her look out the night before. For her, there's nothing worse than trying to rush an outfit together. "I don't need any added stress," she adds.

On the day of the game, she says her makeup artist Arbella Yousif (whom she's become close friends with) will also help her perfect her look with some gorgeous glam. Then, Claire will top everything off with a simple hair-do.

"I love a power pony or a slipped bun or something like that. So nothing crazy on the hair end," Claire, who married George in April 2019, says.

Since the 49ers clinched a spot in the 2024 Super Bowl with their NFC Championship win against the Detroit Lions, Claire admits that she's been scrambling to figure out travel and accommodation plans, along with what to wear to cheer on her husband.

But after a few days of brainstorming, she reveals she's decided to go with an all-silver look. She even took to her Instagram story to ask people to help her find a pair of dangly earrings with her husband's jersey number.

"I think I found what I'm going to wear," she says, hinting that it's a look she's never rocked before for a game day. " I need to make a couple of little alterations to it, but it just got delivered to my doorstep probably an hour ago."

"My entire entryway has 12 boxes that are just torn apart and I was going through everything, but I'm excited," she adds.

Claire also hints that while she and George will often rock matching fits — including their Jan. 21 pre-game denim sets — for the Super Bowl they'll be on their own.

"We're not doing a matching outfit this week for the Super Bowl," she says. "He doesn't even know what he is wearing. That's my job."
