The Chemistry

Fey and Poehler have been an unbeatable team since their Saturday Night Live days, causing a ruckus in the industry altogether. Not only are they powerhouses, but together they're known to bring the house down laughing. Their friendship and chemistry truly shine as they perform onstage.

There are few comedians who have chemistry together as they do. Experienced writers and actresses, they already proved they have what it takes to entertain the jet setters of Hollywood and the common American viewers.

Shots Fired

Fey and Poehler are not shy about criticizing people who deserve to be taken down a notch. Specifically, men, and the categories swarming with them in the Golden Globes nominations. Moreover, touching upon the importance of diversity in a way that shames the perpetrators but also makes the world laugh at an insanely depressing situation.

Not to mention, the last time they hosted was in 2015, pre-2016 election, which means we'll get a ton of political commentary that wasn't there before.

SNL Reunion

Just as an Emmy's partly hosted by Andy Samberg can predict, Fey and Poehler's return will make the Golden Globes a Saturday Night Live cast reunion.

Most likely, they'll get the likes of Samberg, Maya Rudolph, Kristen Wig, and Fred Armisen on board to make the night a riot. Maybe even a little Jon Hamm action because he's always following Fey and Poehler around on projects.

Expect to see a sketch/variety show extravaganza, Fey and Poehler aren't afraid to go all out.

It's Not Ricky Gervais

Ricky Gervais had his moment in the sun, and it's a good thing he's finished hosting the Golden Globes because the world is already toxic enough.

Fey and Poehler are not TERFs nor are they set out to make everybody shut up about causes they care about. It's a privilege to have a voice and a platform, and these ladies know how important it is to use it all for good. Both have made television and film trying to find the good in people! So here's to 2021 with Fey and Poehler!
