Throughout the show's billion seasons, Homer Simpson has benefitted from Sitcom Dad Syndrome, in which the overweight buffoon patriarch is inexplicably married to a woman way out of his league. And this makes sense, as The Simpsons began as a satire of the TV sitcom.

It's pretty firmly established that Homer is objectively not an attractive man, and certainly no stupid sexy Flanders. Marge is attracted to his lovable spirit, not his physical appearance or brains. At least in the early seasons, Homer was a big dumb idiot with a heart of gold.

But what would Homer Simpson look like IRL? Would he be somewhat of a Kevin James? Or more of a Ed O'Neill type?
