‘Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt’ Star Ellie Kemper Reveals She’s Expecting a Baby

Ellie Kemper, star of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, is expecting her first child with husband Michael Koman. The adorable actress made the exciting announcement when she stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. And to celebrate, Ellie was gifted a pint of Tonight Dough for her and her soon-to-be pint-size bundle of joy.

Kemper kept the pregnancy news a secret while shooting the second season of her Netflix series and only confided in show creator Tina Fey. In fact, Fey was the first person Kemper revealed the baby news to. Kemper playfully said to Fallon, “I told her before I told my mom. You can trust her. You can’t trust my mom.”

Kemper and Koman tied the knot in New York City back in 2012. The two had an intimate ceremony that was witnessed by some of their close, famous friends.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. on NBC.
