HBO unveiled three new clips from Game of Thrones’ Season 6 on Monday evening, and instead of flogging (sorry, Cersei!) the old question about whether the handsome, dark-haired and repeatedly stabbed Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch is dead or alive, the focus falls squarely on the show’s female protagonists.
An Episode 3 teaser finds Emilia Clarke’s Daenerys back among the Dothraki, but — spoilers ahead! — the Mother of Dragons appears to have been brought low, rather than flying high atop a dragon’s back.
Cersei, meanwhile, is still shaken in a scene from the premiere, following her long, naked, and absolutely horrifying punishment in the Season 5 finale.

And what about Sansa — last seen leaping to freedom/freezing with Theon at her side? The duo don’t appear to have made it too far beyond the gates of Winterfell before encountering an obstacle that’ll possibly leave them dead in the water before the Season 6 kickoff is over!
