‘Daily Show’ Skewers Fantasy Sports Sites With Fake Commercial

On Thursday, The Daily Show took on fantasy sport sites FanDuel and DraftKings. Both sites are currently under investigation for several infractions, including racketeering, fraud, and insider trading. In fact, Nevada just blocked the use of the sites in their state.

While the sites are dealing with legal issues, they’ve ramped up their ad campaigns, spending record money on marketing. To combat the not-so-honest ads, The Daily Show came up with its own commercial that explains how most people are being used by the companies. The fake commercial cites how advanced algorithms, much like the kind stockbrokers use, are being used to ensure only a few people win the vast majority of the money.
