This week's highlights include Leo Kottke and Lyle Lovett at Lexington’s Cary Hall on Thursday night, and country superstars Lady A bring their music to MGM Music Hall near Fenway Park in Boston on Friday. On Saturday, Hanover’s Aldous Collins Band serves as the opening act for country singer Tyler Hubbard, of Florida Georgia Line fame, at The House of Blues on Lansdowne Street in Boston.

THURSDAY, Oct. 19, includes a costumed Grateful Dead tribute party and show

SATURDAY − Blues guitarist Ronnie Earl is in Plymouth

The inimitable Lucinda Williams is at The Orpheum Theatre in Boston with a night of songs and stories. Blues/jazz/soul guitarist Ronnie Earl and the Broadcasters heat up The Spire Center in Plymouth. (Last year’s excellent “Mercy Me” was his 28th album as a leader.) Americana songwriter Gregory Alan Isakov opens a two-nighter at Roadrunner in Boston, with The Milk Carton Kids opening. Alastair Moock at the Rose Garden Coffeehouse in Mansfield. Neil Frances rocks The Paradise Rock Club in Boston. Rock ‘n’ soulman Jeffrey Gaines at The Fallout Shelter in Norwood.

Monday, The Del Water Gap opens two nights at Royale in Boston; rock quartet Armor for Sleep hits The Paradise Rock Club in Boston. On Tuesday, My Morning Jacket hits Roadrunner in Boston; Squirrel Flower performs at Brighton Music Hall in Boston. Wednesday is busy with Hiss Golden Messenger at The Sinclair in Cambridge; Eric Hutchinson sings at The Narrows Center in Fall River; Teton Gravity Research envelops The Paradise Rock Club; and Charlotte Cardin’s pop is at the Brighton Music Hall. Oct. 26: South Shore studio wiz Joe Merrick is at The Spire Center in Plymouth; Canadian bluesman Matt Andersen plays The Narrows Center; and pop/gospel star Amy Grant performs at Plymouth Memorial Hall.
