37% of ‘Survivor 46’ fans say Hunter McKnight is favorite castaway in Top 12 [POLL RESULTS]

Following last week’s merge episode of “Survivor 46,” Gold Derby asked fans to vote in our poll for their favorite castaway in the Top 12. Hundreds of votes were cast, and things are looking good for Hunter McKnight, who tops our results with 37% support. This 28-year-old science teacher from Mississippi is a superfan of the reality TV show, even creating puzzles at home for his students, but he has no intention of letting his fellow competitors in on that secret.

Here is a closer look at how each of the Top 12 players fared in our “Survivor 46” poll results:

Hunter has absolutely dominated the physical aspect of this game, helping his tribe win every single immunity challenge in the pre-merge phase. His closest ally from the Nami tribe is Tevin, and the two of them are part of a six-person multi-tribe alliance along with Q & Tiffany from Yanu and Tim & Maria from Sagi.

In the hectic minutes before the three tribes came together on one beach, Hunter was able to follow the clues of his Beware Advantage to locate a hidden immunity idol. So far he has kept that discovery a secret from everyone else, including Tevin. The only other person remaining with an idol in their pocket is Tiffany, who has held onto it since the season premiere.

To date, six people have left the island: Moriah Gaynor and Jemila “Jem” Hussain-Adams of the Siga tribe, Bhanu Gopal, Jessica “Jess” Chong and David Jelinsky of the Yanu tribe, and Randen Montalvo of the Nami tribe. (Randen was medically evacuated due to an arm injury, while the others were all voted out.) In this week’s seventh episode, two more will join them in a shocking double elimination.
