Seriously, y'all, how have I lived on the Space Coast for more than two decades and I've never been to Marsh Landing Restaurant in Fellsmere?

I remedied that a few weeks ago and made the drive with my pal, Dr. Leonor Zies. Owner Susan Adams was one of Dr. Zies' patients as a child. It was fun listening to them reminisce about Susan's growing up years, and it was fascinating learning the history of this iconic restaurant, and the quaint town of Fellsmere.

Check out my story here, and let's all start making plans to head down to Fellsmere one Thursday for bluegrass night.

In other recent iconic Brevard restaurant news, Arsenio Lobosco, longtime owner of Cerrato's Market & Deli in Melbourne, has handed over the keys to Michael Mauro.

Love Zaxby's chicken sauce? You can win a supply for life.

Do you love the sauce at Zaxby's? If so, the chicken chain has an auction for you.

Zaxby's, which has locations at 6355 N. Wickham Road, Melbourne; and 4325 W. New Haven Ave., West Melbourne, will auction a single bottle of Zax Sauce, signed by Zach McLeroy, Zaxby's founder and the creator of the sauce. The collector's edition bottle — the first-ever bottled sauce from Zaxby's — comes with a lifetime supply of Zax Sauce, according to a press release from Zaxby's.

Proceeds from the "Zax Sauce for Life" auction will benefit The Boys' and Girls' Clubs of America. The auction opens Sept. 12 on eBay and closes Sept. 15, with the winner announced Sept. 18.

"It's the first time Zax Sauce has ever been bottled, and it's benefitting a great organization with the Boys' and Girls' Club," said McLeroy, Zaxby's founder and board chairman. "I created the sauce back in 1990, and it became a cult favorite among college students who were our earliest brand fans. I used to make every batch from scratch myself."

The lifetime supply of sauce will come in the form of gift cards redeemable at participating Zaxby's locations and a one-of-a-kind collector's-edition commemorative bottle. For full details visit zaxsauceforlife.com.

The bidding starts at $19.90, an homage to Zaxby's founding year.
