Baby, oh baby! Who doesn’t love to hear that a precious bundle of joy is on the way to make the world a little brighter? It’s undeniably life-affirming, and celebrity pregnancy announcements are especially fun because we all get to follow along. Plus, we all feel invested in our favorite Hollywood couples — it’s only natural that we celebrate their baby news right along with them. And since so many celebrities choose to share their pregnancy news with fans, we all get to gush over memorable pregnancy announcement moments pretty frequently.

Some stars have basically captured the zeitgeist of current pop culture (Beyoncé’s floral, veiled revelation about her pregnancy with twins Rumi and Sir springs to mind). A lot of stars choose to share videos announcing their pregnancies, sometimes far enough in to have the video double as a gender reveal — Kate Hudson finding out she was finally having a little girl could put a smile on anyone’s face. Many celebrities choose to go with funny reveals, like Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert. The Bachelor Nation alums shared the big news in May 2020 that they’re expecting their third child together with a funny Instagram photo.
