30+ places to get apple cider donuts in New Jersey this fall

“There’s nothing better on a cold, crisp fall morning than biting into a hot apple cinnamon donut," Jason DeGise, co-owner of Demarest Farms in Hillsdale, once said.

Our sentiments exactly.

As the autumn season rolls in, we thought there would be no better way to celebrate the fall than with a list of farms that offer fresh, warm apple cider donuts. And — since we're smack in the middle of apple harvesting season — the number of farms currently offering the seasonal treat is substantial.

To make an apple cider donut, bakers need, well, apple cider. So, at this time of year, the cult-classic dessert tastes its best (especially accompanied by a hot cup of cocoa, or after a brisk day of hayrides and getting lost in corn mazes). Left to their own devices, we don't doubt that any Garden State resident could down an entire bag on their own.

Without further endue, then, get your flannels, cash and appetites ready. Here are farms and farm stands throughout New Jersey where you can find apple cider donuts.
