Come face-to-face with history by way of photography this weekend by visiting the Palm Beach Photographic Centre’s latest exhibition, “I Saw: A 66-Year Journey Around the World,” which highlights work by noted photojournalist David Burnett. The show features many images taken by Burnett of U.S. presidents, the Vietnam War, the fall of the Berlin Wall, and many shuttle launches from the Kennedy Space Center. Go and see this show!

Music, movement and more are on the menu this weekend as Miami City Ballet brings their sensational “Winter Mix” program to Kravis Center for the Performing Arts. The show comprises an all-time ballet favorite, “Firebird,” along with “Concerto DSCH” and two (!) world-premiere performances: “Análogo” and “PAGANINI, In Play.” A perfect combination of powerful ballet — and an excellent choice for a date night!
