Paper compositions on display in West Palm Beach

It’s time to kick off the fall season and support the work of artists who call Palm Beach County home! Head to Resource Depot in West Palm Beach this weekend to see “Gathered Atlas,” an exhibition featuring a collection of work by Jupiter-based artist Amy S. Broderick. Her complex paper compositions comprise forgotten photographs, discarded office supplies, found atlases and more ephemera. Don’t miss it!

Once a month during the summer, the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens opens up for the evening so guests can take a peaceful walk through the gardens. Along with the view, you can also take in a taiko drumming performance from the world-class Fushu Daiko group or enjoy a bite of food or glass of sake. It’s also the ideal setting for an outing with that special someone, in case you’re looking for a creative date night.

The trio will play selections from The Great American Songbook including “A Foggy Day in London Town,” “Falling in Love with Love,” “My Romance,” “Who Can I Turn To,” “Sunrise, Sunset” and more. Fans of jazz music won’t be able to say pia-“no” to this show!
