Interested in sports history?  Head to Florida Atlantic University’s Schmidt Center Gallery to see artist David Levinthal’s “Curveball: Sports & American Myths” this weekend. This fascinating exhibit showcases Levinthal’s large-format Polaroid photographs featuring toy figurines of famous baseball players from history. Go and see it!

New exhibition at Norton Museum of Art

There’s something extra-special about seeing the work of a museum’s artist-in-residence, especially when it’s an exhibition spotlighting their work created during residency. As the Norton Museum of Art’s 2023-2024 Mary Lucille Dauray Artist in Residence, Nora Maité Nieves presents her work in “Clouds in the Expanded Field,” a long-term exhibition of her vibrant paintings and sculptures. Ignite your passion for music this Sunday, as The Symphonia presents the third of its Journey to Discover concerts, “Distant Lands,” with conductor and artistic director Alastair Willis. With performances of works by Bologne, Haydn, Vaughan Williams, and Clyne on the program, music fans of all ages will be overjoyed!
