Stunning new work at Armory Art Center

For many years, the Armory Art Center has hosted an artist-in-residence program, inviting creative professionals from across the country to develop their craft in West Palm Beach for nine months. At the end of the residency, the center then hosts an exhibition of these artists’ work. This weekend, don’t miss a special exhibition featuring works by the three 2021-2022 artists-in-residence: Kim Rae Taylor (2D), Jennifer Kaplan (ceramics) and Maria Camera-Smith (jewelry).

Symphonic concert in Palm Beach Gardens

Head to the Eissey Campus Theatre at Palm Beach State College’s Palm Beach Gardens campus this Saturday for a rousing night of music performed by one of the county’s finest groups, the Symphonic Band of the Palm Beaches, during their “Wine, Women & Song” concert. You’ll hear hits from the bygone era of big band — so get ready for a fun night!

In the mood to see one of the best musicals of the 20th century? Look no further than The Wick Theatre & Costume Museum as performances of “Gypsy” continue this weekend. This classic about “the ultimate show business mother” boasts a book by Arthur Laurents, music by Jule Styne, lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, and performances that deliver non-stop hit numbers throughout the show.
