27-Year-Old Experiences First Kiss on ‘Love at First Kiss’
Love at First Kiss premiered on TLC Wednesday, and it’s probably the best TV show that’s ever been made. The show pairs up two strangers who kiss — and if it goes well, they can then decide to go on a date.
In the premiere, there were several intriguing couples, but the most intriguing was Josh and Annalisa. Josh is 27 years old yet had never kissed a girl before, ever. Annalisa is from Beverly Hills and claimed to be a very experienced kisser. And when the two of them kissed, it was like magic, reality TV magic.
Despite watching videos of kissing on his phone, when it came time to actually do the deed, Josh was as tight-lipped as a baby being fed sauerkraut. Annalisa was a good sport about it and gave him another try, but poor Josh’s lips must have atrophied from 27 years of no kissing.
While it seemed like there was no romantic connection, Annalisa found him endearing and agreed to go on speed date. “One thing that people don’t realize about me, I love a nerdy, good guy,” she said, “And when I saw him, I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, he’s so cute!”
On their date, Annalisa asked Josh how their kiss was, and Josh replied, “Definitely something that I got out of the way, so that’s good.” Unsatisfied with Josh’s response, Annalisa handed him his walking papers.
Luckily for viewers, it looks like Josh will be given a second chance with a new woman on one of the upcoming episodes, and he’s promising some tongue action. Needless to say, we’ll be watching.
Love at First Kiss airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m/8 p.m. CT on TLC.
