Meet the Vengeance.

The burly SUV comes from California-based car company Rezvani, which specializes in bonkers vehicles like a six-wheeled, bulletproof pickup truck.

The Vengeance is based on a Cadillac Escalade, but takes the imposing shape of an armored vehicle that could easily be owned by one of James Bond's nemeses.

Rezvani says it designed the Vengeance to look like something out of a science-fiction video game. A video-game vehicle developer helped with the design.

The SUV has quad LED lights on its hood and a light bar integrated into its roof.

Its back end looks more like a spaceship than an SUV.

Its eye-popping looks come alongside an eye-popping price tag of $249,000 — and that's before options.

The aggressive Vengeance doesn't just look the part.

An optional Military Package adds on a long list of features including bulletproof glass and body armor.

The package also includes explosive protection, smoke-screen capability, a night-vision system, bulletproof vests, gas masks, and an intercom.

It's an SUV fit for the apocalypse. Or the paranoid.

An optional supercharged V8 produces 690 horsepower.

People spending a quarter-million dollars and up may want some creature comforts in their SUV. And the Vengeance offers many.

Rezvani spruced up the Escalade's already-luxurious interior with its own leather seats and trim.

The three-row SUV comes with heated and ventilated leather seats up front.

It can fit up to eight people and has a panoramic sunroof.

Since it's an Escalade underneath, it offers a sleek, curved screen and a head-up display that projects important driving info onto the windshield.

The Rezvani Vengeance is available to preorder now with a $1,500 deposit.
