32 holiday markets on the South Shore: Crafts, baked goods and Santa, oh my

Delicious baked cookies and breads, pictures with Santa, beautiful winter decorations and hundreds of shopping booths are some of the things that will be offered at winter craft fairs and markets throughout the South Shore.

From Quincy to Plymouth, these fairs are coming up soon to get shoppers into the holiday spirit. Here's a list of where they'll be:

South Shore holiday markets

St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church Holiday Fair

  • When: 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10; 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11

  • Where: St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 17 Church St., Hanover

Crafts, baked goods, gift baskets and more are at this holiday fair. According to the church’s Facebook post, Boston Bruins tickets are being raffled as well.

Holiday Shopping Expo

  • When: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11

  • Where: North Quincy High School, 316 Hancock St., Quincy

  • Tickets/admission: $5, but free for children 12 and under

With over 125 artisans and small businesses slated to set up at the expo, a plethora of offerings is expected. From cookie decorating and personalized ornaments to an appearance from the Grinch, there is something for the whole family.

Scituate High School Arts and Crafts Fair

  • When: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11

  • Where: Scituate High School, 606 Chief Justice Cushing Hwy., Scituate

  • Tickets/admission: Free

Organized by SHORE, the booster club from Scituate High School, this event offers 83 artisans from around the area, raffles, and Miss Emily’s food truck.

2023 Hingham Holiday Fair

Presented by Hingham High School, this holiday fair offers a wide variety of products made by more than 90 artisans and small businesses in the area. Wreaths and many other products are available to get people in the holiday spirit.

Quincy Animal Shelter Craft Fair

The fair will feature more than 20 local vendors and crafters, raffles, food, baked goods, and more.

Emmanuel Parish Holiday Gift Market in Braintree

Raffle baskets, homemade baked goods, free kids activities, local artisans, crafters and more will be at this market.

First Parish of Norwell Holiday Fair

Everything from grandma’s attic to activities for kids, plus jewelry, toys, books, crafts and more will be offered.

Wollaston Congregational Holiday Fair

This holiday fair at the historic Wollaston Congregational Church in Quincy is offering holiday shoppers a fun day of arts, crafts, and food fit for a day of cheer. Get your jellies and sauces for Thanksgiving and Christmas meals. New this year, a caramel sauce. Yum.

Dickens Festival Holiday Craft Fair in Braintree

A Braintree tradition, this holiday craft fair is held the Saturday before Thanksgiving with the church transformed into a festive Victorian marketplace.

Channing Church Holiday Craft Fair in Rockland

Local craft vendors, a white elephant gift table, a bake sale, a luncheon and more are planned. Food baskets, gift cards, lottery tickets and more will be raffled.

4th Annual Eustis Estate Holiday Market in Milton

Hosted at the historic Eustis Estate, Historic New England is hosting an open-air market featuring a variety of local craftspeople selling unique gifts, jewelers, fiber artists, and food products.

Christmas Craft Fair in Weymouth

This craft fair hosted by the East Weymouth Congregational Chuch offers craft vendors, a silent auction, raffles, snack bars, and many more for the whole family to get into the holiday spirit.

Bake Sale and Craft Fair

Hosted in conjunction with the American Red Cross Blood Drive in memory of Leland (Lee) Little, the First Chuch in Pembroke is hosting a bake sale/craft fair for holiday shoppers. Cookies, brownies, breakfast breads, and much more homemade goods are on offer.

Duxbury Art Association’s 50th Annual Craft Showcase

The Duxbury Art Association is hosting a fun-filled weekend of holiday shopping at their 50th annual showcase. Featuring talented artisans from across New England, this fair offers many items perfect for the holidays.

Thanksgiving Craft Fair

  • When: Noon to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19

  • Where: Knights of Columbus Abington, 254 Hancock St., Abington

  • Tickets/admission: Free

More than 30 vendors, food, treats and raffle prizes will be featured. Proceeds from the raffles will benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Kilroy Square Holiday Market

  • When: 4 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 24; 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 25 and 26; 4 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1; 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 2 and 3

With a bigger and better-heated tent, the Kilroy Square Holiday Market is also advertising a larger number of vendors this year. More than 95 vendors are expected to be on hand, plus a beer garden and Santa.

Wicked Women Makers Market

About 40 creative and talented vendors will be at this year's Wicked Women Makers Market, with jewelry, soaps, prints and many other items for sale. This year marks the fifth annual installment of the market.

Fall Market Vendor Event

  • When: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 25

  • Where: Soul Purpose Wellness Studio, 274 Plymouth St., Halifax

  • Tickets/admission: Free

Held on Small Business Saturday, this fall market vendor event is offering items by various local vendors.

Hull Holiday Showcase

  • When: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25

  • Where: Nantasket Beach Resort, 45 Hull Shore Drive, Hull

Also held on Small Business Saturday, this event offers affordable holiday gifts, decorations, local apparel and more. Local artisans offer coastal holiday arts and crafts.

Support Local Babes Holiday Market

Over 30 woman-owned businesses are joining this holiday market in Kingston. A full bar, gift wrapping, 360-degree photo booth, and more will be offered.

Coastal Christmas Fair

  • When: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2

  • Where: Quincy Point Congregational Church, 444 Washington St., Quincy

The fair is raising money for two Quincy organizations: the New England Aquarium Sea Turtle Hospital and Interfaith Social Services.

Weymouth High School Annual Craft Fair

More than 100 vendors from across the area are expected.

Plymouth Holiday Market

The third annual Plymouth Holiday Market will host more than 120 local vendors. This two-day market features home goods, jewelry and specialty food as well as food trucks and more.

Seaside Christmas Fair

North Community Church Holiday Fair

Greens and Craft Fair

Holiday greens and a bake sale are just some of the things being advertised for this fair. The fair is hosted by the Abington Garden Club.

23rd Annual New England Holiday Craft Spectacular

More than 150 juried artisans will display their works and a plethora of foods will be available at this event, which has been running for the last 23 years. Scottish fudge, hot sauces, Vermont maple and many more food items will be available.

Plimoth Patuxet Winter Fine Arts and Craft Fair

Hosted at the museum's visitor center, this craft fair is offering holiday shoppers hand-crafted gifts from various independent makers. Shoppers can also grab historically inspired holiday food and drinks.

Bryantville Elementary PTO Holiday Fair
