This 21-Minute 'X-Files' Feature Will Tide You Over Until the New Series

Thirteen years after its original run, X-Files is returning with a new six-episode series next month. Besides some brief teaser videos, we haven't seen a whole lot about the revival of the classic sci-fi show. In this new behind-the-scenes feature that Fox released today, show creator Chris Carter and actors David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson reveal new details about the upcoming episodes. The whole thing is still shrouded in that classic X-Files air of mystery, but this provides reasonably satisfying respite for those fans dying to hear that theme music again. It delves into Mulder and Scully's child, the Roswell alien crash, and what it was like for the actors to start filming again.

"In the past week we've had some quintessentially Mulder-Scully scenes," Anderson says in the video. "With the distance of time there's a new appreciation for those and what they mean and bring."

The truth is still out there, but you'll have to wait until Jan. 24.
