Devi, the fearless protagonist, is not perfect, but she's got a mostly good heart (and a fiercely competitive side, especially if you're Ben Gross). Is she messy? Yeah. Will she make you cry? Also yeah. Needless to say, you might even find yourself relating to her and her hijinks!
To celebrate season two, we've rounded up our hands-down favorite moments from the show so far!
Warning: Spoilers ahead for seasons one and two of Never Have I Ever!
1.When Devi proposes hooking up with Paxton.
If you felt a full-body cringe watching this part, that's the normal reaction. But also, this is an absolutely ridiculous moment that showcases the rich terrain of Devi's character — she's not just nerdy, she's brave (read: chaotic).

This is actually...perfect casting?
Which episode it's in: Season 1, Episode 6

Nalini is low-key a sweetheart! But also we guess you don't have much choice when a teenage boy starts crying at your office after you administer a cortisone shot to his pimple.
Which episode it's in: Season 1, Episode 6
7.When Dr. Ryan tells Nalini that she doesn't need to be strong all of the time.
Niecy Nash kills every scene that she's in, UGH.

11.When Gigi Hadid narrates Paxton's life.
Obviously because they are two hot people who deserve to be taken more seriously!

After breaking his heart (and being partially responsible for breaking his arm), Devi helps Paxton by becoming his study buddy, utilizing tutoring methods such as rapping Hamilton-style.

Honestly, we love to see it!

It's really hard to see Devi do so many messed-up things (like start a rumor about her friend's eating disorder that turns out to be true), but the series doesn't shy away from those moments and shows how one should truly apologize.
Which episode it's in: Season 2, Episode 7

Honestly one of the BEST new characters this season.

She's our favorite hot nerd.
Which episode it's in: Season 2, Episode 10
21.When Paxton shows up all suave at the dance to officially and publically go out as Devi's boyfriend, but he accidentally drives into her.
Not going to lie, he was acting really shady towards her! But I guess this is kind of poetic justice for him getting hit by a car because of her?
Which episode it's in: Season 2, Episode 10
