Jan. 30—The official application for the 2024 Willoughby ArtsFest will be live at the beginning of February.
Presented by Lake Erie Distillery in partnership with Willoughby and the Lake County Ohio Visitors Bureau, the application for the ArtsFest will be available Feb. 1.
The ArtsFest is currently slated for July 20 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in downtown Willoughby. More than 100 juried artists, local food, live music, the kid's studio and the auction tent will be featured at the event.
This will be the 33rd Willoughby ArtsFest. In addition to the juried artists, vendors and music will be featured at The Kilbourne Family Entertainment Gazebo in Wes Point Park. The Cleveland Clinic Kid's Studio will feature arts and crafts in partnership with the Willoughby-Eastlake Public Library, and the Willoughby Arts Collaborative.
According to Willoughby Mayor Robert Fiala, the ArtsFest is one of the city's premier events.
"Our restaurants, bars and merchants are looking forward to hosting all art lovers," he said.
The Universal Direct Windows Auction tent will feature original works donated by artists for a chance to win.
"The ArtsFest brings the community together to showcase the fine arts, attracting tourists and visitors to historic downtown Willoughby and Lake County," said Dana Wolfe, executive director of the Willoughby Western Lake County Chamber of Commerce. "We are grateful that we have been able to continue this tradition with the support of the various organizations, volunteers and artists to make this one of the most anticipated events of the summer."
