On Sunday night (March 10), top talent gathered for the 96th annual Academy Awards, hosted at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood. The industry’s top talent put on their most elegant threads to see if American Fiction, Barbie, Oppenheimer, or another conversation-starting film will take Best Motion Picture of the Year.

Oppenheimer leads in nominations with 13 total, followed by Poor Things with 11 and Martin Scorsese’s Killers Of The Flower Moon with 10. Additional notable noms include American Fiction star Jeffrey Wright up for Best Actor, while co-star Sterling K. Brown is in the running for Best Supporting Actor. In his category, Wright will go up against Bradley Cooper (Maestro) Paul Giamatti, (The Holdovers), Cillian Murphy (Oppenheimer), and Colman Domingo (Rustin). Additionally, Danielle Brooks is nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her big-screen moment as Sophia in the reimagined The Color Purple musical film.

Presenting the evening’s top honors are a dazzling list of talent including Ariana Grande, Forest Whitaker, Issa Rae, Mahershala Ali, Bad Bunny, Octavia Spencer, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Regina King, Jessica Lange, Jennifer Lawrence, Matthew McConaughey, Kate McKinnon, Rita Moreno, John Mulaney, Lupita Nyong’o, and more.
