Taylor Swift is the most nominated recording artist in the 4th Annual Gold Derby Music Awards nominations, but she’s not the most nominated individual. Scroll down to see the entire list of GDMA contenders, watch the nominations announcement above, and visit our predictions center now to start voting for the winners. You have until the end of the day on Friday, January 19, 2024, to get your votes in. Winners will be announced at a later date to be determined.
Swift picked up an impressive nine nominations including Artist of the Year, Album of the Year (“Midnights“) and Record and Song of the Year (“Anti-Hero”). To date she has never lost the Artist of the Year category, and she previously won Album of the year for “Folklore” in 2021. She’s by far the most awarded individual in the early history of the GDMAs with a remarkable 19 prizes over the last three years.
More from GoldDerby
But one individual did even better than Swift, though they largely have her to thank. Producer, songwriter and frequent Swift collaborator Jack Antonoff has 11 noms for his work this past year with both Swift and Lana Del Rey.
And “Midnights” isn’t the most nominated album. That would be the “Barbie” soundtrack, which is up for a whopping 12 prizes including Album of the Year and Best Pop Album, in addition to noms for Dua Lipa‘s “Dance the Night,” Ryan Gosling‘s “I’m Just Ken,” Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice‘s “Barbie World” and Billie Eilish‘s “What Was I Made For?”
This year’s GDMAs were decided first by our savvy Gold Derby forum posters, who voted on the preliminary list of contenders. Then hundreds of registered Gold Derby users cast their votes for the official nominees in our predictions center.
Now to vote for the winners, sign up for a free account here if you don’t have one already. Then visit our predictions center and click the green “VOTE” button next to “Gold Derby Music Awards 2024.” In each category you will select one nominee as your favorite. The nominee who gets the most votes wins. Simple as that. You may vote in as many or as few categories as you wish. And you can update your ballot as often as you like; no votes are final until the January 19 deadline. So go ahead and cast your votes right now, and discuss these awards and more with your fellow music fans here in our forums.
