Visitors will have the opportunity to experience Japanese performances, music, art, a story walk, a bike ride as well as the viewing of ikebana flower arranging. Local vendors will also offer goods for purchasing.

Festival goers will also have the chance to purchase food from food trucks including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Dr. Hibachi

  • Thai It Up

  • Red Bean Bakes

  • Eddies Famous Cheesesteaks and Grille

  • Galaxy Grill

With this year's festival coming two days before the total solar eclipse, the Downtown Akron Partnership will hand out eclipse viewing glasses during the festival.

The Akron RubberDucks will also play their season-opening game against the Altoona Curve during the festival, starting at 6:05 p.m. Cherry-blossom themed fireworks will be displayed post-game. Tickets can be purchased for $12 at fevo-enterprise.com/event/Downtownakron.
