2024 CMT Music Awards nominations list: Jelly Roll, Cody Johnson, Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson among top contenders

Cody Johnson, Jelly Roll, Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson and Megan Moroney top the list of 2024 CMT Music Awards nominees, which were announced on Wednesday, March 13. They have three bids apiece. Scroll down for the complete list of contenders.

Among the three nominations for Johnson, Jelly Roll, Ballerini and Wilson is Video of the Year, a category that currently includes 16 nominees. After the first round of voting the top six will be revealed on April 1. Then after a second round of voting the three finalists will be unveiled, and finally all the winners will be announced on April 7.

Unlike the Academy of Country Music Awards and the Country Music Association Awards, which are decided by professionals within the country music industry, the CMT Awards are voted on by fans. Country music listeners can pick their favorite music video achievements at vote.cmt.com through April 1, except in Video of the Year where voting will be open until April 7, when the show airs on CBS.
