From Post Malone and Chris Stapleton to Lainey Wilson and Jelly Roll, some of country music’s top stars have made their way to the Lone Star State’s Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, for this year’s 59th annual Academy of Country Music Awards. Hosted by country music icon Reba McEntire, the ACM Awards kick off tonight on Prime Video.
“I am tickled to pieces to get to host the ACM Awards for the 17th time!” McEntire previously shared in a statement. “What an honor to have been part of the past, present, and now the future of the Academy of Country Music with Amazon Prime Video. I can’t wait to get to Texas and see everybody May 16th!”

Like last year, country music fans can tune into the ACM Awards live online — here’s how:
Stream ACM Awards on Prime Video
The 2024 ACM Awards won’t be televised on a local network, but instead will air exclusively on Prime Video. Fans can livestream the ceremony and performances online for free — and you don’t have to be a Prime member to watch it either.
Can You Watch the ACM Awards for Free?
While anyone with an Amazon Prime membership has access to Prime Video already, fans can stream the ACMs without being a member this year. All you’ll need is a strong WiFi connection so you don’t miss any of the performances or winners.

When Are the 2024 ACM Awards? Time & Date
This year’s ACM Awards air live on May 16, 2024, at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT, exclusively on Prime Video. The pre-show festivities kick off an hour earlier.
2024 ACM Awards: Who’s Nominated?
Following the massive success of his cover of Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car,” Luke Combs leads the pack of ACM Awards nominees this year with eight nods. That includes a nomination for Song of the Year, which also marks Chapman’s first ACM Awards nod.
Kelsea Ballerini, Ashley McBryde, Megan Moroney, Kacey Musgraves, and Lainey Wilson are up for Female Artist of the Year, while Combs, Jelly Roll, Cody Johnson, Chris Stapleton, and Morgan Wallen received nods for Male Artist of the Year.
