2021 Golden Globe Nominations: The Complete List

2021 Golden Globe Nominations: The Complete List

The 2021 award season has officially begun!

More than a year after Ricky Gervais signed off from the Beverly Hilton Hotel for the 77th ceremony, the path to the Golden Globes has kicked off once again with the nominations announced on Wednesday, Feb. 3. Sarah Jessica Parker and Taraji P. Henson did the honors of presenting the names on this year's highly anticipated list. As is typically the case, the 2021 nominee pool was a mix of Golden Globe veterans and newcomers, including nods for Netflix's 2020 breakout hit, Emily in Paris, as well as former Best Television Series—Drama winner, The Crown. For its final season, Schitt's Creek was recognized with not one, but five first-time nominations, including for Best Television Series—Musical or Comedy. Chadwick Boseman, who died in August 2020 at 43 years old, garnered his first nomination posthumously for his performance in Ma Rainey's Black Bottom.

Overall, Netflix leads the pack this year with 20 nominations for its content, including The Crown, which is the most nominated series this year. On the film side, Mank tied with The Crown with six nods, making it the most-nominated motion picture.

See which other movies, series and stars made the list of nominees below!

The 2021 Golden Globes, hosted once again by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, will air on NBC on Feb. 28.
