Ellen DeGeneres is spending her time cooped up at home exactly like the rest of us are — or, how we would be if we had famous friends.

The talk show host shared a hilarious series of videos to her Instagram account on March 18, during which she lounges around her house while cold-calling more than a few celebrities.

Kicking back on her couch, DeGeneres phones Adam Levine, Justin Timberlake, Jessica Biel, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen.

The first call, with Levine, was to wish the Maroon 5 singer a happy birthday.

“Thank you,” Levine tells DeGeneres in an almost song-like voice, before going on to say that he’s “just sitting here, enjoying my wonderful family.”

Next, DeGeneres gets into a more comfortable position and calls Biel and Timberlake, who have been married since 2012. Timberlake answers first, sparking a comically boring conversation.

“What are you doing?” DeGeneres asks Timberlake, who simply says, “Nothing.” Biel, who isn’t much more help, also answers, “Nothing.”

“Me too. Well, alright, I’ll talk to you later,” DeGeneres replies.

Emphasizing her boredom even further, DeGeneres starts laying completely upside down on her couch as she calls John Legend and Chrissy Teigen. The couple both say hello before looping their children into the call.

“I wish I had kids,” DeGeneres says. “I’m super bored.”

“Yeah, we’re bored too,” Teigen agrees.

The videos, which seemed to fall somewhere between a total joke and the realities of social distancing, were relatable to many of DeGeneres’s fans, who commented with their support.

“Keep ‘em comin’ … helps with my boredom,” one Instagram user wrote.

“Ellen called everybody today. The boredom is getting real,” another added.
