FedEx driver's unexpected act caught by customer's security camera: 'I couldn’t believe it'

A FedEx driver delivered a little bit of unexpected joy when he shoveled off the stoop of a customer who inadvertently captured the kind gesture on their security camera.

Jodi Brooks LaFreniere, a kindergarten teacher in Manistique, Mich., received a notification from her Ring doorbell security system on Jan. 23, alerting her that someone was at her door, WCTV reports.

Upon checking out the scene being recorded by the device, LaFreniere saw FedEx employee Melvin Marlett shoveling a thick layer of snow from her stoop before dropping off a rather large package outside her home.

The teacher was touched by the gesture and took to Facebook to share a clip of Marlett's deed.

"I shared it with my coworkers immediately because I couldn't believe it," she told CNN. "It made my day."
