Hold on, was last night the Oscars?

The world's biggest movie stars flooded the Beverly Hilton this weekend for the Hollywood Film Awards: Brad Pitt, Ryan Gosling, Nicole Kidman, Glenn Close and Hugh Jackman were just a few (seriously!) of the A-list names celebrating the year's best in film.

Anne Hathaway, goddess that she is, wore a billowy white number that -- truth be told -- strongly resembled a pillowcase. But she expertly managed to pull it off, toning down the volume with low-key natural hair and muted accessories. Overall, it made for a modern but conservative twist on the "old Hollywood" look.

On the opposite end of the style spectrum was Shailene Woodley, whose allover-sequined romper featured a midriff cutout, super-short shorts and the puffiest puff sleeves you've ever seen. Definitely a head-turner!

Constance Wu, who never disappoints on the red carpet, continued her winning streak with a crimson ballgown. Her "Crazy Rich Asians" co-stars were just as glam: Awkwafina shimmered in gunmetal while Michelle Yeoh opted for a sophisticated tux. (Leading man Henry Golding was obviously adorable; that goes without saying.)

Other men bringing their best style game were Timothee Chalamet, who wore a glittery shirt under a black blazer, and Ryan Gosling, whose camel brown ensemble made for a nice seasonal look.

Meanwhile, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban cozied up throughout the night, both out on the red carpet and inside the ceremony -- all those photos are in the gallery below.
