The first-ever Johannesburg, South Africa edition of the Global Citizen Festival—Global Citizen Festival: Mandela 100—took place today at the FNB Stadium. The latest edition of the festival featured performances by numerous artists, including Beyoncé and JAY-Z, Pharrell and Ed Sheeran, Black Coffee, Kacey Musgraves, Femi Kuti, Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Usher, and numerous others. Comedian and “Daily Show” star Trevor Noah hosted the event, with other co-hosts that appeared throughout the evening, including Naomi Campbell, Dave Chappelle, and more.
