The Bachelor franchise has given us a cornucopia of shows, and yet...no one can seem to stay together. (Okay, maybe that's not entirely true, but it sure FEELS that way!) The success rate of Bachelor Nation couples is tragically low (see: Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist's four-month marriage), despite the fact that ABC producers are chaotically attempting to matchmake on no fewer than four (FOUR!!) ongoing shows:

  1. The Bachelor

  2. The Bachelorette

  3. Bachelor in Paradise

  4. The Golden Bachelor

Meanwhile, turns out the cast is...kinda fine just dating amongst themselves?

Due to Bachelor Nation being a tight-knit community of show alumni who spend time attending events and doing press together, there's a lot of cross-season "socializing." Like, Stagecoach might as well start its very own dating app at this point due to how many chaotic Bachelor hookups have gone down on its hollowed, Cowboy hat-littered, grounds.

On that note! We're here to round up 20 Bachelor Nation couples that got together no thanks to the show! (Okay, indirectly, SURE.) From new relationships, like Susie Evans and Justin Glaze (if they break up, I'll need to enter grief counseling), to old timers you completely forgot about, some duos found love that stuck, while others had short-lived romances.

That's life on and off camera, I guess!

Chris Bukowski and Anna Redman

Chris Bukowski and Anna Redman have been on a ton of Bachelor Nation shows between them, but they met each other off screen and fell hard! So, how'd they connect? Apparently BiP couple Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt introduced them.

"I forgot exactly how it went down, [but] Serena is friends with Anna, so Serena was, like, on the phone with Anna. I think she [had] mentioned, like, she’s sick of being single," Joe said on Click Bait. "And then that night, I met up with a few people to watch whatever game was on—I think there was some sporting event on. And I met with Chris and I think he was like, 'Yeah, I'm sick of being single.' I was like, 'Well, I actually know somebody who is also sick of being single.'"

Victoria Fuller and Chris Soules

Spoiler sleuth Reality Steve broke the news that Victoria Fuller and former Bachelor Chris Soules were dating back in 2020, saying they were "together in Iowa for the week." Which, wow, sounds like paradise.

On top of that ^, fans confirmed Victoria and Chris were together after realizing his couch pillows were featured on her Instagram Live.

Anyway, despite their beautiful Iowa romance, these two ended up breaking up after a few months—but they ran into each other at Nick Viall and Natalie Joy's 2024 wedding! "I knew she was going to be there," Chris said on the Almost Famous podcast. "It was good to see her. I don't know that it's weird anymore in this world that we live in."

Susie Evans and Justin Glaze

After months of friendship and months of fans being convinced they're soulmates, Susie Evans and Justin Glaze finalllllllly decided to give dating a try. And turns out they're smitten.

Susie told E! News that she moved Justin out of the friend zone in October 2023 at a 7-Eleven (important detail for obvious Slurpee-related reasons), where they had a deep convo about their relationship. Then they went back to Justin's place and shared their first kiss on his couch! As I said, never break up, pls, thx.

Tenley Molzahn and Ben Higgins

Surprisingly, Tenley and Ben's under-the-radar relationship was only recently revealed.

Tenley (who competed on Jake Pavelka's Bachelor season) spilled everything on the She's All Bach podcast in 2023, saying that she and Ben connected during Kaitlyn Bristowe's Men Tell All special in 2015 and had "chemistry."

"We definitely flirted and talked on a daily basis," she said. "And I was hopeful that he would end up not being the Bachelor so that we could continue to pursue something. I felt pursued by him. I felt like we had a really good friendship, but that it was definitely borderline could be something else.”

Obviously, nothing more happened (and Ben went on to become Bachelor), but they were def vibing!

Victoria Fuller and Greg Grippo

Due to literally nothing getting past Bachelor Nation, fans figured out that Victoria Fuller and Greg Grippo were dating back in fall 2022, thanks to them being spotted together in Italy. In fact, going to Italy was literally their first date.

Alas, the relationship didn't last. Greg confirmed in 2024, on Jason Tartick's Trading Secrets podcast, that he and Victoria split up, saying, "I mean it's sad, to be honest with you. It's like, really sad. And you know, I just want to respect her during this time and you know, not going into detail on anything."

Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick

Kaitlyn and Jason met during a taping of her podcast Off the Vine back in 2018. Three months later, he asked her out on air with this cute proposition: "I mean, if we're both going to be in the same city at the same time, I see no reason why we shouldn't go to dinner or grab drinks."

Fast forward to May 2021 and these two were engaged, but they sadly split up a couple years later in August 2023.

Kaitlyn Bristowe and Zac Clark

Rumors have been circulating for a minute now that Kaitlyn moved on from Jason Tartick with Tayshia Adams' ex Zac Clark! Evidence, you ask? How about them dancing together at a New Year's Eve party (pictured here)? Only time will tell what's happening here!

Clare Crawley and Blake Monar

Kay, technically Blake was one of Clare's Bachelorette contestants, as you can see here, so I guess ABC actually did something right. But Clare and Blake reconnected off-camera during one of Clare's work trips in 2022.

As Clare put it, "Went for business, left with the most unexpected remarkable memories! Indy, you were truly beautiful and exactly what my soul needed."

Unfortunately, their relationship was super short. A source even told Us Weekly, "Clare and Blake were never officially dating. They hung out a few times and enjoyed each other’s company at the time."

Kiptyn Locke and Angela Amezcua

These two arrived outta nowhere in April 2024! And in case you have no memory of whomst they even are, Kiptyn competed on The Bachelorette alllllll the way back in 2009, while Angela was one of Nick Viall's contestants on The Bachelor in 2017.

Anyway, the pair took their relationship public on Instagram, writing, "After many amazing months together, guess it's about time we share our love with the world."

Angela Amezcua and Clay Harbor

BUT before hooking up with Kiptyn, Angela and Clay Harbor dated.

They connected after being set up by Angela's fellow Bachelor in Paradise contestant, Chris Randone. As she put it, "He was like, 'Listen, if nothing works out for you here, after the show, this is happening. I'm gonna hook it up.'" Good lookin' out!

Chris and Peyton Lambton

Behold: one of the very first Bachelor Nation couples to hook up off-camera.

Peyton competed on Andy Baldwin's Bachelor season (the year, I regret to inform you, was 2007), while Chris was on Ali Fedotowsky's Bachelorette season in 2010. Peyton then starred on Bachelor Pad's debut season and met Chris after returning home from the show!

Sparks flew, they got married in 2012, and they recently celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary. Congrats!

Brayden Bowers and Christina Mandrell

Christina might not have found love with Zach Shallcross on The Bachelor, but she and Charity Lawson's ex, Brayden Bowers, hit it off via DM and are now casually engaged. Actually, Brayden proposed during The Golden Wedding—which is a huge faux pas, but we'll allow it due to entertainment value. (But also, was it bad luck?? Someone had to say it!)

Derek Peth and Olivia Caridi

Remember 2017? Me neither, but it was the fateful year that Reality Steve reported that Derek Peth and Olivia Caridi had secretly dated—and even planned to go on Bachelor in Paradise together before he broke things off.

As Steve put it, "I heard he ended things with her, and I quote exactly, 'Because he didn't want to date anyone from the franchise.' When I did Olivia's podcast a couple weeks ago, I just went straight to the source and asked her flat out if what I heard was true. She confirmed what I'd heard."

Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Courtney Robertson

Arie and Courtney actually dated before either of them were card-carrying members of Bachelor Nation.

As Courtney told People back in 2017 about Arie finding love on his season as the lead, "Arie and I have dated on and off for a long time—for years. We developed a fun, flirty friendship and I'm really happy for him."

She also said in her 2014 memoir that he was the best sex she'd had, so!!!!

Jubilee Sharpe and Bryan Abasolo

Back in 2017, Reality Steve broke the news that Bryan and Jubilee used to date. According to the spoiler sleuth, they weren't "on the verge of marriage or anything," but "did have a thing that was somewhat recent."

Meanwhile, Jubilee low-key called out Bryan's lack of kissing skills on Twitter, writing "Bryan, please take notes from Dean. Now THAT'S a kiss." WELP.

Blake Horstmann and Kristina Schulman

In case you blocked this drama out, Blake and Kristina hooked up at Stagecoach, a.k.a. the messiest place ever for Bachelor Nation off-the-books romances...

Blake Horstmann and Caelynn Miller-Keyes

Because, the thing is, Blake also hooked up with Caelynn Miller-Keyes at Stagecoach—ahead of all of three of them going on Bachelor in Paradise together—which inevitably got a bit very complicated. But we're not about to rehash all that, kay?

Jesse Csincsak and Ann Lueders

They didn't find love on reality TV, but Jesse (from DeAnna Pappas' season) and Ann (from Jason Mesnick's season) went ahead and connected on a...wait for it...Bachelor cruise!!!

As Jesse put it to In Touch, "When Ann and I met on the Bachelor reunion cruise I hosted, she was one of the few girls that wouldn't even talk to me. I guess every guy wants what he can't have. It took me a whole day to get her to have a conversation with me and a whole other year and a half to get her to marry me. But after that it was true love and here we are married with three wonderful children and a booming business."

John Presser and Tara Durr

First of all, I apologize for inflicting this photo of what looks to be a discarded pile of denim upon you, but here we are. The point is, John and Tara met through a Bachelor Facebook page of all places!

She sent him a DM saying, "Oh, you were a part of that crazy show, too?" and then they "corresponded back and forth for about two months" before meeting.

Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Selma Alameri

Turns out Arie briefly dated Selma after he wrapped up Emily Maynard's Bachelorette season in 2013. He confirmed as much to Us Weekly, saying "Obviously we shared a common interest, when two people go through this, it's easy to relate to them. That's what kind of drew me to her in the first place. She's obviously a beautiful girl but we decided it was probably best for us not to date. I just want to keep my relationships private in the future. That's the reason Courtney and I split up and I probably should have learned from that, but hindsight is 20/20 and I'm happy to move forward and have a private relationship."

(Cut to him eventually being Bachelor, lol)
