These 2 Euphoria Stars Are Reportedly in the Running to Be the Next Bond Girl, Industry Sources Claim

Despite Aaron Taylor-Johnson not even being officially confirmed yet as the new James Bond, Hollywood is reportedly in overdrive when it comes to casting their first Bond girl with the new reboot. Weeks ago, multiple outlets were claiming that the top three actresses in the running to be the next Bond girl were Michelle Keegan, Jodie Comer, and Kaya Scodelario (despite both Comer and Scodelario showing more interest in other roles in the franchise when asked in previous interviews). But now, Hollywood insiders claim two Euphoria stars are allegedly in the running to be a Bond girl: Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney.
Insiders gave even more updates on the potential, rebooted Bong franchise. Industry insiders told DailyMail quite a few telling updates, and we’re seriously so impatient to find out more as soon as possible!

So for one thing, the executive producer Barbara Broccoli reportedly wants a younger actress to play the “femme fatale role”.
“When it comes to Bond girls, they will never leave the franchise, and to have a young Bond is something that will be fun to play with,” the insider said, shouting out stars Sweeney and Zendaya.
However, they noted that to get either of them, the stars will have to be aligned.
“Sydney Sweeney has been discussed, but something like that is only determined by schedule, if the casting is right and the director thought it would be right,” they said.
And as for Zendaya, “If they get Denis Villeneuve, who has worked with Zendaya, then she could be in the mix as well.” (Apparently, Broccoli’s dream director is Dune director Villeneuve, who Zendaya has worked with previously. And if he’s signed on, insiders claim the reboot would turn into a remake then).
As of April 2024, Zendaya is promoting her new movie Challengers. Per IMDb, Sweeney is currently promoting her new movie Immaculate, and is working on projects such as Eden, Echo Valley, and the new Barbarella film.
We’d love to see one, or even both somehow, in the Bond franchise, especially since their hit show Euphoria was put on indeinifte hiatus.
Something to keep in mind is that these are reports from industry sources, no actor has confirmed they’re signing on to a new Bond film yet.
