A smoke signal swirled the sky above downtown Los Angeles on Saturday (Sept. 30) as Puffcon attendees indulged their highest hash desires. Purchasing a ticket required owning a Peak, Peak Pro, or Proxy from the Puffco brand, cultivating a niche community for customers to shop, puff, and pass. With an eligible barcode, a plus-one could be added to a qualified ticket for an additional price.

Welcoming autumn to SoCal, a rainy morning cleared for a crisp afternoon as the third annual PuffCon block party kicked off. Described as a symbiotic marriage of music and cannabis culture, highlights included the Liquid Death Thirst Hearst, the RipnDip Ice Cream Truck, a Ryan Fitt Glass Blowing Demo, the Jones Soda Schoolbus, and the 710 Labs Interrogation Room with one lucky person winning a year’s supply of marijuana.

As the event continued with roller skaters, jugglers, magicians, musicians, break dancers, and more, attention shifted from the vendors and food trucks to the main stage. Fans were treated to an evening of performances from Fulcrum, Zombie Juice, Curren$y, and Action Bronson. Headliner 2 Chainz closed out the night with a party-starting set delivering engaging performances of his fan-favorite hits.

The PuffCo brand was established in 2013 by CEO Roger Volodarsky. Hosting the block party since 2021, the event was established to boost the approachability of cannabis, specifically concentrates, and organically nurture a blended community of both newcomers and connoisseurs by offering a safe space for all of legal age to explore hash.
