2 Chainz and Lil Wayne have enlisted another Hip-Hop heavyweight to officially invite fans into their new chapter. On Monday (Nov. 13), the pair released the official trailer for their pending album Welcome 2 ColleGrove featuring narration from 50 Cent.

“Let me tell you a story about these two guys that eventually became brothers,” explains the New York native in the clip, directed by Sharod Simpson.

After introducing Lil Wayne as “Tunechi,” and 2 Chainz as “Slim” the script continues to detail, “And when they met up and devised a plan on how to take over the land, it kind of went like this. Welcome to ColleGrove.”

The trailer also revealed the first four songs on the album’s tracklist “G6,” and “Big Diamonds” featuring 21 Savage, as well as previously released tracks, “Presha” and “Long Story Short.” Producers on these tracks include Mannie Fresh, Juicy J, Big K.R.I.T., and Bangladesh.

Welcome 2 ColleGrove, due on Friday (Nov. 17), is the anticipated follow-up to the Hip-Hop duo’s first full-length collaboration ColleGrove issued in 2016.

“We’ve been working on it for some time, had a lot of clearance issues, but for the most part, we’re two hardworking individuals who go in the studio every night. So, I don’t think it was hard recording the music,” shared 2 Chainz of Welcome 2 ColleGrove with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1.

“It just was a process of getting the music out to the people. I think me and him just have that chemistry. We enjoy working with each other a lot, and it’s a lot of respect there. And as I always say, still sharpen still. So, it’s always that little piece of anxiety of knowing that I got to this verse has to be better than the last one. I think it’s healthy. I think competition is healthy in any and everything that we do.”
