Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz will drop a joint LP, Welcome 2 Collegegrove, on Nov. 17 via Def Jam Recordings. The album follows the pair’s 2016 collaborative effort ColleGrove, named after 2 Chainz’ hometown of College Park, Georgia, and Lil Wayne’s hometown of Hollygrove, Louisiana.

The duo have previewed the new album with “Presha,” a high-energy single that sees the rappers joining forces on the vocals. “I done fell in love with a thick bitch/ I done fell in love with a rich bitch,” they rap. “Shawty know she pressure, talkin’ high blood/ Put two girls together like a hybrid.”

2 Chainz and Lil Wayne will appear on The Tonight Show today to perform the single. The pair have been collaborating since 2007 when Lil Wayne hopped on “Duffle Bag Boy” by Playaz Circle. They’ve since joined forces on singles like “Rich As Fuck” and Juicy J’s strip club anthem “Bandz a Make Her Dance.”

Lil Wayne’s most recent solo LP, Funeral, arrived in 2020. Fans have recently been speculating that he’s preparing to drop Tha Carter VI, but so far no announcement has been made. In September, the rapper released “Kat Food,” a thumping song produced by Charlie Handsome, FNZ, and Rogét Chahayed that samples Missy Elliott‘s “Work It.”

Earlier this year, Lil Wayne told Rolling Stone he is constantly making new music. “I work on multiple songs a day,” he confirmed. “I probably look at 20 verses a day. I’m on my bus right now. I have a studio set up on this bus. We have a studio bus behind me. In every hotel we get to, before I get to the room, my two engineers set up a studio in the bedroom. And I told you, we already have a studio booked in that city if that city has a nice studio, meaning I don’t stop working.”

2 Chainz’s most recent album, Dope Don’t Sell Itself, was released in 2022. In June, he unveiled a new song, “Sunset High,” during 1989 Studio’s runway show for Spring/Summer 2024 at Paris Fashion Week.

Welcome 2 Collegegrove is available to pre-order now.
