2 Chainz In Hospital After Multi-Car Crash In Miami

2 Chainz had quite the scare this past weekend. The 46-year-old rapper was rushed to the hospital after a multi-car crash in Miami.

The Atlanta legend was out in the MIA for Art Basel and was leaving the Booby Trap strip club on Saturday morning (Dec. 9) when the unfortunate crash ensued. There were three vehicles total involved in the collision near Interstate 95.

Fortunately, there were no fatal or even major injuries. Ignatius Carroll of Miami Fire Rescue arrived on the scene after 4 a.m. and discussed several people in a van who were hurt but not seriously. 2 Chainz was the only person who needed to be taken to the hospital.

2 Chainz wanted to show his fans that he was fine and posted a video on Instagram showing him being loaded into an ambulance. At one point in the video, he shows his feet kicking back and forth and pans to a Black car with significant damage to its front.

It seems like Tity Boi will make a speedy recovery and be able to continue the rollout for his latest release, Welcome 2 Collegrove alongside Lil Wayne. The project, a follow-up to their 2016 collaborative effort Collegrove, came out in mid-November.

The 21-track joint LP features Usher, 21 Savage, Rick Ross, Fabolous, Benny The Butcher, and more. They kicked off the pre-release rollout with the singles “Presha” and “Long Story Short” before unleashing the full album. This marked 2 Chainz’s first release since February 2022’s Dope Don’t Sell Itself and a quick follow-up for Weezy F Baby after September’s Tha Fix Before Tha VI.
