Baseball is still recovering from its New Year’s party. We’ve reached the dregs of the offseason. While elite talent still remains on the market, no team seems interested in doing much yet.

Pitchers and catchers are set to report in roughly six weeks, so you would assume the market will heat up soon. Until that happens, it’s fair to wonder how you’re going to make it through the offseason, especially on days like this.

Every once in a while, a hero comes forth with something that reminds us how much we love baseball. In this case, that hero is the Pitcher List. And that “something” is a 14 minute video of the nastiest pitches from 2017.

The title of that video delivers. Those were 14 minutes well spent, as far as we’re concerned. If there’s a downside, it does make us yearn for baseball to be here. We can’t speed up time, but we can watch this video every day to make 14 minutes go faster.

Naturally, we have to ask … what are some of your favorite pitches from the video? We’re going to cheat and just say every slider from Chris Sale and Yu Darvish, every curve from Rich Hill, every two-seam fastball from Aaron Nola and every changeup from Stephen Strasburg. Oh, and any pitch thrown by Clayton Kershaw.

Yeah, we had too many favorites. But if you have specifics, feel free to share them in the comments. Go ahead and watch the video multiple times. It’s not only entertaining, but it’s not like anything else is going on right now.
