'13 Reasons Why': Netflix Drops Season 3 Trailer And Announces Season 4 Will Be Its Last

The trailer has landed for the fourth and what we now know is the final season of "13 Reasons Why," as Season 3 ramps up later this month.

A Rough Time for '13 Reasons'

Production is still taking place for this new, fourth season, but details are scant.

The show was originally supposed to just be a one-time series, so its second season was a bit of a surprise too.

Season 2 didn't fare quite as well as Season 1, only receiving a 25 percent rating, so the show has its work cut out for it.

Still Going Strong, For Now

"13 Reasons Why" did gain early success, but it was partly due to that scene, where the character known as Hannah commits suicide.

Netflix recently removed the controversial scene from the finale of Season 1, as many thought the images were glorifying suicide.

Play It Safe

Thirteen episodes for Season 3 of "13 Reasons Why" premieres Aug. 23. It's being rumoured that there is no suicide scene, and that would be a wise choice if true.
