11th annual Cinco de Mayo celebration brings artists to Buck Owens’ Crystal Palace

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Bakersfield bands and ballet folklorico will be part of an upcoming celebration at Buck Owens’ music venue.

On May 5, the 11th annual Cinco de Mayo Pachanga is set to take place at Buck Owens’ Crystal Palace. Mento Buru, Velorio and Mariachi San Marcos de Bakersfield will be performing at the event, along with Ballet Folkorico Huaztecalli. Doors will be open at 2 p.m., with musical acts running from 3:30 to 9 p.m.

Organizers also say Dulce Armonia, Bakersfield’s only all-female mariachi quartet, will make their Crystal Palace debut at the celebration.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m., April 12, on the Buck Owens website.

Reservations will be available at The Crystal Palace, according to organizers.
