"13 Going on 30" (November 1)

This great rom-com follows a teen who just wants to be 30, flirty, and thriving.

After 13-year-old Jenna Rink gets her wish, grown-up Jenna (Jennifer Garner) must learn to navigate her adult life and job at a New York-based magazine.

The movie also has a great supporting cast including Mark Ruffalo, Judy Greer, and Andy Serkis.

"The Big Lebowski" (November 1)

The Coen brothers' version of a crime noir has become a cult classic. It follows bowling enthusiast Jeffrey "The Dude" Lebowski who is in search of a rug that was stolen from him. He encounters clueless nihilist thugs and a porn king and drinks lots of White Russians in the process.

Jeff Bridges delivers one of the best performances of his career as Lebowski. John Goodman, Steve Buscemi, Julianne Moore, and John Turturro also star.

"Desperado" (November 1)

Robert Rodriguez directed this memorable Western starring Antonio Banderas as a man with a guitar case full of guns seeking revenge on a drug lord who killed his wife.

The supporting cast includes Salma Hayek, Steve Buscemi, and a cameo from Quentin Tarantino.

"Pitch Perfect" (November 1)

In "Pitch Perfect," an all-girl a cappella group called the Barden Bellas try to find their former glory with a new crop of performers.

Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Anna Camp, and Brittany Snow all deliver great performances.

"Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" (November 1)

If you're excited about the upcoming anime series "Scott Pilgrim Takes Off" on Netflix, check out the movie to tide you over.

David Fincher's latest for Netflix is an adaptation of the French graphic novel of the same name. Michael Fassbender stars as an assassin who sets out for answers after a hit goes wrong.

"Lone Survivor" (November 16)

Based on a true story, a Navy SEAL (Mark Wahlberg) fights for his life behind enemy lines after a failed mission to take down a Taliban leader. Taylor Kitsch, Emile Hirsch, and Ben Foster also star.
