‘1000-LB Sisters’ Tammy Slaton Slams ‘Rude’ Fan Asking About Her ‘Gobbler’

Tammy Slaton has no time for body-shamers!

The "1000 Lb Sisters" star had no option but to call out a critic after they asked if she would "get that gobbler removed" so she could sound better when she talked. Although visibly upset, Slaton took her time explaining her perspective, which endeared her to fans even more.

Tammy Slaton Tearfully Tackles Internet Citizen's Hurtful Remark

Slaton was in a somber reflection when she took to social media to address an internet troll who dropped a mean question. Under one of her posts, the person had queried:

"Why do you sound like that you sound like you can't breathe and you got some stuck in your throat also, are you gonna get that gobbler removed?"

In response, the star of the hit "1000-Lb Sisters" got her camera rolling and dubbed the curious troll "so rude." While struggling to control her emotions, she candidly continued:

"My 'gobbler' will get removed one day when my doctors say I'm ready to. I haven't started plot telling yet. You make me feel so insecure sometimes. I can't help it but at the same time, I'm proud of it."

Referring to the loose skin around her forearm, Slaton shakily explained that she has worked "so hard" to get her "bingo wings in the go."

"I'm proud of myself. Do I still think I'm ugly? Yes. Am I getting pretty? Yes. And the reason why I sound like I'm out of breath in my videos is 'cause I wasn't trying to sing it 'cause I have family members here's that were asleep and I wasn't trying to be too loud," the 37-year-old added with tears in her eyes.

While wiping her tears, the reality television star wished viewers a Merry Christmas and told them to have a "great day" before turning off the camera. The emotionally charged TikTok post got a positive reception from her followers, with one person sternly commenting:

"Don't you dare let them get you down bby girl!!! You are doing wonderful…and you are beautiful inside and out.❤️Merry Christmas, sweetheart.🎄."

Another fan expressed, "I don't understand why people are so mean! 😒You are absolutely beautiful and don't let anyone tell you any different. You have worked hard and you should be proud!! 🥺❤️," and a third stressed, "Rude is an understatement, you have every right to be proud your so beautiful Tammy ❤️you girl."

Other reassuring remarks included, "We love you Tammy!! You are doing amazing, don't listen to the haters girl!! I am so so freaking proud of you!!!❤️❤️🥰," "Don't let the haters get to you Tammy !!!!!!!!," and "Girl don't let them get you down! You are beautiful!"

The last time Slaton spotlighted a comment, it was one who wanted to know what her "best weight loss tip" was. She shared, "Honestly, it's portion control. It's not what you eat, it's how much you eat of it. Because when I was in rehab, they were giving me pizza, spaghetti… but it was portioned."

She clarified that the portions she received translated to "one piece of pizza" and "one scoop of spaghetti," emphasizing a commitment to "pushing away from the table." Slaton further noted that minimizing sugar and carb intake as much as possible played a significant role in her weight loss efforts, wrapping up, she said:

"I hope whatever you're going through gets a lot better. I'm here for you, I love you all. I also wanted to say I wanted help in some way. But if you always need more, I'm here. But the gates are always open, not just for you, but for anybody."

Before that, the YouTuber offered a brief update on her dietary change, responding to a curious follower inquiring about her consumption of "12/8 sodies." She replied in the negative, explaining that she does not drink "sodies that often anymore."

"Or if I do drink something else, it's tea…diet tea or sugar-free Gatorades. I do like drinking Crystal Light packets, stuff like that sometimes….but plain ordinary water," Slaton disclosed in the video uploaded to TikTok. 

Her supportive fans promptly filled the comment section with praise for her impactful decision. One user suggested a tea for Slaton, saying, "Have you tried Mylos zero calorie sweet tea? It's so good and tastes like it's full of sugar ❤️." 

Another fan expressed, "So proud of you!!!" as a third complimented her, praising her for looking "soooo good," and a fourth commenter added, "As you should, queen. My favorite soda is the coke in the glass bottle because they use actual sugar."
