Tammy Slaton is opening up about her sexuality.

On Tuesday, the 1000-Lb. Sisters star posted a TikTok video responding to a follower who asked if the 37-year-old was transgender. The question comes after she posted another video using emojis for the Pride flag and transgender flag in her caption.

“No, I’m not trans. I’m just a supporter of everybody,” she explained. “I was saying I was pansexual but I kinda stopped messing with guys after my husband passed. So, I’m like a lesbian.”

“I was just showing support,” she continued. “I’m not a hater. Love is love. Everybody deserves love whether they’re gay, straight, trans, pan, bi, nonbinary, whatever. I’m just a lover.”

In the clip, Slaton was referring to her late husband Caleb Willingham, who she met at Windsor Lane Rehabilitation Center in Gibsonburg, Ohio while she was there working on her weight loss journey. The two fell in love and quickly married in November 2022.

He was the love of her life, Slaton told PEOPLE exclusively last month. “What’s not to love? He really fit in with our family.”

But seven months later, Willingham died at the age of 40 of unknown causes. Slaton said she’s been “doing fairly well” coping with her loss. She’s since had two pieces of jewelry created out of Willingham’s ashes — a ring and a music note-shaped necklace, which she wears every day.

Slaton previously came out as pansexual back in 2021 while she was in a two-year relationship with ex-boyfriend Jerry. During an episode of 1000-Lb. Sisters at the time, the reality star was at a restaurant when she decided to come out to Jerry.

"It means love is love," she told him. "I would date anybody whether they're transgender, straight, gay."

Jerry is initially thrown and confused, and asks if that means she would date a transgender man.

"Yeah. Or girl. It's about how they make me feel, not how they look," she explained.

In a separate interview, Slaton said that she realized her true sexuality after a conversation with a friend.

"I always thought I was bisexual, and then I started talking to one of my friends and she told me she was pansexual, and I asked her kind of what it meant," Slaton said at the time. "It means you love everybody, not just the same sex. And I was like, 'Well, I guess I am too," because I wouldn't mind being with someone who's transgender, or whatever."
