10 Shows to Watch After You've Binge-Watched ‘Suits’

From 'Ally McBeal' to 'White Collar,' here are a handful of shows that have just as much drama as 'Suits'

USA Network’s Suits continues to make waves long after its finale aired in 2019.

Since the series hit Netflix in June 2023, it has set streaming records as new fans get introduced to the show — and old fans rewatch their favorite moments.

Originally released in 2011, the legal drama followed Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams), who lands a job as a lawyer without ever having attended law school. As the series continues, the show follows Mike and his coworkers as he tries to keep his big secret under wraps.

With an intriguing plot and talented cast, including Meghan Markle before she became the Duchess of Sussex, the show was a smash hit during its nine-season run, with numerous award nominations.

If you’ve already binge-watched the series in full, there are plenty of other titles you can check out to get your Suits fix (including the short-lived spinoff series Pearson starring Gina Torres).

If one of your favorite parts of Suits is the romantic entanglements that develop in the workplace, the '90s megahit Ally McBeal is right for you. Originally released in 1997, the drama follows a young lawyer (played by Calista Flockhart) who winds up working at a firm with her ex-boyfriend. As it turns out, she has never gotten over him, but he's now married to someone else.

The Good Wife

Much like Suits, The Good Wife really puts the “drama” in legal drama as defense attorney Alicia Florrick (Julianna Margulies) returns to the workplace following her husband’s very public sex and political corruption scandal. Also like Suits, the series has a stacked ensemble cast, including Matt Czuchry, Josh Charles, Alan Cumming, Matthew Goode, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Christine Baranski, (the latter of which latter got her own spinoff series titled ​​The Good Fight).

Industry

Can’t get enough of the ambitious Suits characters working their way up the career ladder? You’ll likely get a kick out of HBO’s drama series Industry, which follows a group of young graduates competing for permanent positions at one of London’s most prestigious investment banks. Though the show only has two seasons so far, it’s already been renewed for a third, with Game of Thrones alum Kit Harington set to join the show.

Damages

Much like Suits, Damages puts a mentor-mentee relationship at the forefront of the series. Originally released in 2007, the series follows the brilliant lawyer Patty Hewes (Glenn Close) and her protégée Ellen Parsons (Rose Byrne) as they take on new cases each season.

Netflix’s original series The Lincoln Lawyer, based on the books of Michael Connelly, the series follows a Los Angeles defense attorney who unconventionally runs his practice out of his Lincoln Town Car. The storylines and humor will feel familiar to Suits fans.

White Collar

Though White Collar is a police procedural, the USA Network series has many similarities to Suits, namely the working relationship between Mike Ross (Adams) and Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht).
