October promises to be another jam-packed month for Music City, with some of the best touring artists from all genres coming to play the city's venues. Nashville will see some classic acts this month, but you definitely shouldn't miss the up-and-coming stars performing in the city, like Renee Rapp and Ashnikko.

During October, artists from Noah Kahan to the Jonas Brothers and classic-rock band Queen will grace the Nashville stages. Some acts, including Gregory Alan Isakov and Phish, are playing multiple night stretches.

Oct. 3: Janelle Monae

American singer-songwriter, rapper and actor Janelle Monae will hit the stage at historic Ryman Auditorium. Monae released album "The Age of Pleasure" on June 9, with new hit songs "Champagne S***" and "Float" (feat. Seun Kuti and Egypt 80).

Oct. 3-4: Noah Kahan

Alternative folk-singer Noah Kahan is headed to Ascend Amphitheater for two evenings. The Vermont native released acclaimed album "Stick Season" last year and released an extended version of the album, "Stick Season (We'll All Be Here Forever)" on June 9.

With new releases "Sarah's Place," a Zach Bryan song featuring Kahan, and "Call Your Mom" with silky-voiced Lizzy McAlpline, fans can't get enough of Kahan. His Nashville show will include singer-songwriter Samia as the opener.

Oct 5-6: Gregory Alan Isakov

South African singer-songwriter Gregory Alan Isakov is coming to the Ryman Auditorium for a two-show stretch. A horticulturalist and folk singer, Isakov released new album "Appaloosa Bones" last month, all recorded from his farm outside of Boulder, CO. Known for hits "Big Black Car" and "The Stable Song," Isakov's smooth Americana alternative tunes are sure to delight Ryman crowds.

Isakov's show will include opener folk duo Shovels & Rope on Oct. 5 and indie pop band Lucius on Oct. 6.

Oct. 6-8: Phish

The American rock band known for musical improvisation and jam sessions is coming to Bridgestone Arena for a three-night stretch. The band, known for its cult following, is bringing its genre-bending funkiness to Nashville. Known for songs "Farmhouse" and “Bouncing ‘Round The Room" and performances that change each show, the band, led by Trey Anastasio, is sure to wow three nights of crowds in Music City.

The band released album "The Gorge '98" last year, documenting their performances at the Gorge Amphitheater in Washington in 1998.

Oct. 9 & 20: The Jonas Brothers

The Jo-Bros are back in Nashville, playing two spaced-out shows at Bridgestone Arena. Nick, Kevin and Joe Jonas are known for pop hits "Sucker," "Waffle House" and "What A Man Gotta Do."

The family boy-band trio released new album "The Album" in May of this year, and are bringing their "FIVE ALBUMS. ONE NIGHT." show to Nashville. To see the band reach back into their past, while also playing their fresh new hits, fans should make sure to catch their Bridgestone shows.

Oct. 11: Ashnikko

Singer and rapper Ashton Nicole Casey, better known as Ashnikko, is bringing her edgy, viral songs to Marathon Music Works. Ashnikko rose to fame in 2019 after releasing single "Stupid" with Baby Tate, and isn't slowing down any time soon. She released album "WEEDKILLER" on Aug. 25, with hits "Worms" and "Cheerleader."

Fans should be sure to see the "Daisy" and "Slumber Party" (feat. Princess Nokia) star live to catch her impressive dance moves and energetic hits.

Oct. 14: Darius Rucker

American country singer and guitarist Darius Rucker is taking to the stage at Ascend Amphitheater. The performer got his start as rhythm guitarist of rock band Hootie & the Blowfish, and is now an internationally acclaimed solo performer.

Known for hits "Wagon Wheel," "Alright" and "Beers And Sunshine," Rucker's classics will surely have Nashville crowds singing along.

Oct. 16: Renee Rapp

North Carolinian Renee Rapp, an actress and singer, will perform at Nashville's historic Ryman Auditorium. The R&B and pop singer released album "Snow Angel" this year with hits "Talk Too Much" and "Pretty Girls."

Rapp rose to fame after starring in "Mean Girls" on Broadway as the catty Regina George, and is now a beloved touring musician with a significant social media following. You won't want to miss this rising star's performance on her "Snow Hard Feelings Tour."

Oct. 23: KISS

Theatrical American rock band KISS is coming to Bridgestone Arena as a stop on its "End of the Road World Tour." The band, known for "I Was Made For Lovin' You" and "Rock And Roll All Nite," is ready to rock and roll all night and party every day in Nashville, TN.

Oct. 25: Queen + Adam Lambert

With no shortage of hits, including "Bohemian Rhapsody," "Don't Stop Me Now" and "Another One Bites The Dust," fans won't want to miss an evening full of theatrical, glam rock.
