And just like that, the 2024 awards season has come to an end!

On Sunday, Hollywood's biggest stars gathered together to celebrate the year's achievement in film at the 2024 Oscars. The ceremony was filled with big moments from first-time winners to captivating performances from the night's musical nominees — including Ryan Gosling's show-stopping rendition of Barbie's "I'm Just Ken."

Da'Vine Joy Randolph Wins

Da'Vine Joy Randolph kicked off Sunday's ceremony with an emotional acceptance speech after winning the award for Best Supporting Actress. The Holdovers actress was already in tears when she made it to the stage for her speech, which began with, "God is so good."

She thanked "all the people who have stepped in my path and been there for me" as well as giving a shout-out to her mom, whom she credits for pushing her to act.

To close she said, "I pray to God that I get to do this more than once. I thank you for seeing me. Have a blessed night. Thank you."

John Cena Bares It All

While most famous faces took the stages in gowns and tuxedos, John Cena stripped it down for a hilarious moment in which he presented the award for Best Costume Design with nothing but an oversized envelope. The nearly nude moment happened after host Jimmy Kimmel invited Cena onstage as part of a bit to pay homage to the 1974 Oscars streaker incident.

A 'Beetlejuice' Reunion

Thirty-five years after their film debuted, Michael Keaton and Catherine O'Hara had a Beetlejuice reunion when they walked onto the stage to present the awards for Best Production Design and Best Makeup and Hairstyling — which both went to the team behind Poor Things.

Emily Blunt and Ryan Gosling Trade Barbs About 'Barbenheimer'

In another laugh-out-loud moment at Sunday's ceremony, Emily Blunt and Ryan Gosling hit the stage to pay tribute to stunt performances — and used the opportunity to poke fun at each other all in the name of "Barbenheimer."

"Well, bit of a frosty hello," the Oppenheimer star said to Barbie's Ken. "Not at all — I'm just happy we can finally put this Barbenheimer rivalry behind us," Gosling responded.

"That's right, here's Ken and Kitty just leaving all that fodder in the dust," Blunt continued. "And the way this awards season's turned out, it wasn't that much of a rivalry, so, just let it go."

"It's true, you guys are doing very well, congratulations, but I think I've figured out why they called it Barbenheimer and didn't call it Oppenbarbie," Gosling joked. "I think you guys are at the tail end of it because you were riding Barbie's coattails all summer."

Before launching into the montage, Blunt was sure to get in just a few more jabs.

"Thanks for Ken-splaining that to me, Mr. I-need-to-paint-my-abs-on-to-get-nominated — you don't see Robert Downey Jr. doing that," Blunt continued. "Robert Downey did not paint his abs on," she added, before Gosling grabbed the mic to yell, "You're kidding!"

Ryan Gosling Performs 'I'm Just Ken'

Ryan Gosling brought the audience to their feet when he took the stage — in a bedazzled hot pink suit — to sing the Oscar-nominated song "I'm Just Ken" with a posse of Kens. He started the song sitting in the audience where Billie Eilish and Margot Robbie were seen giggling as he began.

He later made his way to the stage, where he was joined by costars Scott Evans, Simu Liu, Kingsley Ben-Adir and Ncuti Gatwa as well as musicians Mark Ronson, Slash and Wolfgang Van Halen. Though the song ultimately won to another Barbie anthem — "What Was I Made For?" — his performance was certainly Kenough.

Messi Takes His Seat

Among the flood of Hollywood's biggest stars, there was one very special guest: Messi! The dog from Anatomy of a Fall was a very good boy in the audience on Sunday night. Host Kimmel praised the canine during his opening monologue, saying, “Messi, who even though he’s a dog, may have given the performance of the year in Anatomy of a Fall."

A 'Twins' Reunion with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito

In another reunion more than 30 years in the making, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito took the stage on Sunday night as presenters and in doing so, gave a shoutout to their shared history.

"Look at that, it’s so beautiful," DeVito said. "Look at everybody. Look at that, very nice. Well, Arnold and I are presenting together, for a very obvious reason."

"We both tried to kill Batman," Schwarzenegger chimed in, referencing his role as Mr. Freeze in 1997's Batman & Robin and DeVito's as Penguin in 1992's Batman Returns.

Schwarzenegger and DeVito famously starred together in 1988's Twins.

Sean Lennon Wishes Mom Yoko Ono a 'Happy Mother's Day'

While accepting the award for Best Animated Short Film for War Is Over!, Sean Ono Lennon took a minute to honor his mom Yoko Ono by asking the star-studded audience to help wish her a happy Mother's Day.

“Thank you, I just wanna quickly say, my mother turned 91 this February,” Lennon began. “And today is Mother’s Day in the U.K., so could everyone please say, Happy Mother’s Day, Yoko?” to which the audience obliged and said, “Happy Mother’s Day, Yoko!”

Kate Mckinnon Jokes That She Sends Jeff Goldblum 'Tasteful Nudes'

In another comedic moment from the night, Barbie costars Kate McKinnon and America Ferrera stepped behind the mic together to present the award for Best Documentary Short and before doing so, began listing famous documentaries of the past. McKinnon then joked about the Jurassic Park films being true stories, to which she was quickly corrected.

"But Jeff Goldblum is real, right?," McKinnon asked.

"No," Ferrera said.

"Then to whom have I been sending my tasteful nudes?" McKinnon asked as the crowd begins to laugh. The camera then showed director Steven Spielberg, who pointed to himself as the crowd laughed even louder.

Scott George Performs 'Wahzhazhe (A Song for My People)'

To celebrate their Oscar-nominated song from Killers of the Flower Moon, Scott George gave a vibrant performance of "Wahzhazhe (A Song for My People)" with The Osage Singers in a moment that included drumming and dancing and concluded with a standing ovation from the audience.
