Ah, The Sphere. It’s a dazzling new feature of the Las Vegas strip, and it’s been a major hit since it opened in November. With U2 serving as the first band to play at the cinematic, psychedelic venue, seeing that marvelous marble with your own eyes (instead of just on the Grammy telecast) is even more enticing. So why not pregame the Big Game with the Super Bowl of Visually Stunning Concert Residencies? The band doesn’t have long before they wrap up their run of shows at The Sphere in March, so catch them while you can — and prepare to be wowed.

All good things must come to an end, and Adele’s epic Las Vegas residency is no exception. The superstar singer has announced the final dates of her wildly successful “Weekends with Adele,” and, luckily for 49ers and Chiefs fans, those dates include Super Bowl weekend. So before you roll deep with your crew at Allegiant, get “Rolling in the Deep” at The Colosseum; make the most of your weekend by saying “Hello” to one of the greatest modern singers; yes, these jokes are bad, but please go “Easy on Me.” If nothing else, it’ll give you a chance to warm up those vocal cords so that you can cheer both loudly and on key come Sunday.
Bruno Mars (Dolby Live at Park MGM — Feb. 5th, 7th, and 9th)

Las Vegas has its fair share of vocal powerhouses (see above), but no one has as much fun blowing the house down as Bruno Mars. From his early solo hits to his smooth jams with Silk Sonic, his shows at Park MGM are a tour de force and a damn good time. Plus, kicking off Super Bowl weekend with a Friday night Bruno Mars show is a certifiably great way to start your Vegas adventure. It’s been a while since Bruno Mars’ last solo album, so he may even debut new music – who knows!
Tom Segura and Bret Kreischer (MGM Grand Garden Arena — Feb. 10th)

Two of the biggest touring comedians in the world and co-hosts of the chart-topping 2 Bears 1 Cave podcast, Tom Segura and Bret Kreischer are going deep in Las Vegas. The duo’s special “Go Deep” co-headlining show at the MGM Grand the evening before the Big Game is sure to be as wild as any Mahomes-Kelce connection on Sunday. After all, watching football is just watching two teams toss an oblong object around if you’re not doing it with your pals, and no friendship in comedy is as entertaining as Segura and Kreischers — so join the fun.

Zach Bryan (Bud Light Backyard Tour at the Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan, Feb. 9th)

It’s one of the hottest tickets on the market right now, and it’s likely that scoring a seat for Zach Bryan will only get more difficult as his 2024 tour goes on. The country star will be taking over The Cosmopolitan on February 9th, set to dazzle audiences with his outlaw energy, killer backup band, and hypnotic stage presence. There hasn’t been a country star like Bryan in a minute where the setup of a man with a guitar can somehow still feel electrifying; don’t miss the chance to hear “Heading South” or the recent Grammy winner’s many other hits live for yourself this weekend.

There’s no better endorsement of the democratic system at work than the way the United States absolutely nailed it with one of the most important votes of the 21st century: crowning Kelly Clarkson our first-ever American Idol in 2002. Still blowing our minds with her inimitable vocals all these years later, the popstar/talkshow host will be at the Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood on February 9th and 10th to treat audiences to cuts from throughout her career and her most recent Grammy-nominated project, Chemistry. Thanks to popular demand, this residency, billed as “An Intimate Night with Kelly Clarkson,” was extended from its original run, now coinciding with Super Bowl weekend.

Wu-Tang Clan: The Saga Continues… The Las Vegas Residency (The Theater at Virgin Hotels, Feb. 9th and 10th)

RZA said that Wu-Tang Clan heading to Las Vegas was about showing “that hip-hop can go where any other art form has gone before.” If you’re going to prove that a hip-hop residency can work in the residency-rich city, launching it on Super Bowl weekend is a hell of a way to prove your point. The legendary rap crew will hold their first of (so far) two two-night stands The Theater at Virgin Hotels on February 9th and 10th, and the kick off shows will certainly be a sight to behold before… well, kick off.

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, but it feels like it would be hard not to spill stories about seeing Christina Aguilera at the Voltaire Belle De Nuit at The Venetian. She’ll be taking the stage both February 9th and 10th, giving you multiple opportunities to enjoy her powerhouse vocals in person. This is Xtina’s second residency in Sin City, and she’s returned with a slew of fabulous outfits and selections from her expansive discography. From the bench of the Big Game to “Beautiful,” people — we all have the range!

Gronk Beach with Afrojack, Flo Rida, DJ Irie, Dante (Encore Beach Club at Wynn Las Vegas — Feb. 10th)

No NFL star throws a party like Rob Gronkowski, so of course the Super Bowl champion tight end will be putting on the biggest day party in Las Vegas during Super Bowl weekend. Gronk Beach will take over the Wynn’s Encore Beach Club on Saturday, February 10th with music from Afrojack, Flo Rida, DJ Irie, and Dante. Of course, Gronk himself will be on hand, with promises that the beach-themed venue will be packed with the “biggest names in sports and entertainment.” A true Vegas experience blended right into a football experience, this is a Gronk Smash kind of score.
Shaq’s All-Star Comedy Jam (The Theater at Resorts World Las Vegas — Feb. 9th and 10th)

Shaquille O’Neal might have played with a different ball than the one the 49ers and Chiefs will be battling over, but that doesn’t mean he can’t get in on the action of Super Bowl weekend. Enter Shaq’s All-Star Comedy Jam, a two-night event offering levity before the dramatics of Sunday night. Hosted by Deon Cole and featuring comedians D.L. Hughley, Earthquake, Desi Banks, and Aida Rodriguez, both nights are sure to be gut-bustingly hilarious. You can even pass off a few of the jokes as your own at Sunday’s tailgate — we won’t tell anyone.
