The end of this summer (2023) will mark ten long years since Grand Theft Auto V first hit the shelves and today, it feels like it’s as popular as ever. Naturally, that’s a part of GTA Online, a massive feature of which is cars, whether that be for racing, driving around in peaceful mode, or even showing them off amongst friends. Car culture in GTA V has always been a real thing. Below, we’ve compiled a list of the ten best cars in GTA Online, whether that be for their speed, the way they look, or how useful they are in different areas of the game. 1. Annis S80RR

Asking Price: $2,575,000
Available at Legendary Motorsport, the Annis S80RR was added to the game as part of the 1.48 Diamond Casino & Resort update in the summer of 2019. It was immediately a hit with fans, resembling the Nissan R90C and the Jaguar XJR-9. As far as statistics, the car’s acceleration and handling are the most impressive, hitting 93.13 and 100 respectively. With a top speed of 197.95 KMPH, you’ll be racing past the competition incredibly quickly.
2. BF Weevil Custom

Asking Price: $980,000
To acquire the Weevil Custom, players must first purchase the standard Weevil for $870,000 before converting it to this variant at Benny’s Original Motor Works for another $980,000. So technically in total, just getting this car will cost you $1,850,000. For that plus the few hundred grand it’ll cost to fully upgrade this car, you’ll be able to reach a top speed of 221.28 KMPH, which explains its speed stat of 85.77.
3. Grotti Itali RSX

Asking Price: $2,598,750 - $3,465,000
The Itali RSX is one of the better-looking vehicles in the entire game. That’s partly because its model is based on the Ferrari SF90 Stradale, a simple, but beautiful design. If you do the mission where you help return Moodyman to The Music Locker, then you’ll pay $2,598,750 for this car. Otherwise, you’ll be shelling out an extra $866,250 for it. In terms of stats, the Itali RSX is maxed out in not one, but two areas. Both its acceleration and handling are at 100, with its speed at 87.54 and its braking letting its average down a little at 45. When fully kitted out, this Grotti will hit just over 217 KMPH.
4. Grotti Vigilante

Asking Price: $3,750,000
Next up on the list is another Grotti. This time, the Vigilante. One look at this car will tell you exactly what Rockstar was going for with this. It’s obviously a digital recreation of the Batmobile from Tim Burton’s Batman and Batman Returns. For a hefty $3,750,000, you can become Michael Keaton’s Batman himself. Naturally, this car is weaponized, has bullet-resistant windows, and has a rocket boost feature. Its statistics don’t do it justice, averaging out for an overall of just 55.27. On paper, that leaves a little to be desired, but out there in the real world of Los Santos, it performs well, hitting a top speed of 236.57 KMPH after being fully upgraded.
5. Imponte Deluxo

Asking Price: $4,312,500 - $5,750,000
Available at Warstock Cache & Carry, the Imponte Deluxo cannot be used in standard races, so it’s often not thought of as one of the best cars in the game, but it’s undeniably one of the most unique and fun cars to drive in GTA V. Without completing the Doomsday Heist mission, you’ll be paying nearly $6 million for this. For that price, if you haven’t noticed already, you have your very own DeLorean from Back To The Future. It’s able to fly, float on water, drive, and hover, so it’s hard to argue you’re not getting your worth for the $$$ it costs.
6. Karin Kuruma (Armored)

Asking Price: $525,000 - $698,250
A mix of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X and the Subaru WRX STi, the armored variant of the Karin Kuruma is without a doubt one of the most useful cars in GTA V. When it comes to PvE missions, contact missions, and heists, it’s tough to go wrong with this car. NPCs have an incredibly hard time doing any real damage on this and it’ll make you feel invincible behind the wheel. For that feeling, even the non-trade-in price of nearly $700,000 is a bargain. Even for the protection here, you’re not giving up much in the way of statistics because the Kuruma’s speed, acceleration, and handling stats are all above 74.
7. Ocelot Pariah

Asking Price: $1,420,000
For a long while, the Ocelot Pariah boasted the highest top speed of any regular car in the game, which is why it was a top choice. While it doesn’t hold that crown anymore, falling to the Weevil Custom that appeared earlier on this list, it’s still a great choice and one of the best cars in the game. The Pariah is based on the Aston Martin V12 Zagato and the Ferrari 812 Superfast. It has a top speed (after being fully upgraded) of 218.87 KMPH.
8. Pegassi Ignus

Asking Price: $2,765,000
You might be wondering why we don’t have the weaponized version of the Ignus on this list. That’s because, in most measurable areas, the two cars are virtually identical, which means that almost entirely for weapons, you’re paying an extra $1,735,000. We feel that you’re better off making a saving there for the next GTA update. The standard Pegassi Ignus is nothing to scrunch your nose at either. It’s based on the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 which is a sleek design. It’ll hit the 200 KMPH mark and get to it very quickly too, with an acceleration stat of 95.88.
9. Pfister 811

Asking Price: $1,135,000
Designed based on the Porsche 918 Hypercar and the Koenigsegg Regera, the Pfister 811 has been in the game for around seven years now. It’s quietly a great pick for races, costing less money than most other supercars that it can perform at a similar level. In terms of the stats, its acceleration comes in at 89, its speed at 85.47, and its handling at 81.45, with its 37.33 braking stat bringing it down a little to an overall of 73.32. When fully upgraded, the 811 hits an immaculate 213.24 KMPH.
10. Progen Emerus

Last but not least on our list of the best GTA cars, the Progen Emerus is one of the top picks for races in the entire game, largely due to how well it handles, which explains its 100-handling stat. Along with that, it boasts an acceleration of 94.50. At a top speed of 204.79 KMPH, after all its upgrades have been applied, the Emerus is a beast and one that will likely never go out of style. As if its technical stats weren’t enough, this is based on a McLaren Senna, so you’ll look good in it too.
