070 Shake served as the musical guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday, June 16th, performing her single “Skin and Bones.”

Taking to the stage unaccompanied, 070 Shake painstakingly delivered “Skin and Bones” under a single spotlight, singing about keeping a romance on the downlow: “Skin and bones under the covers/ Kept our love undercover/ Nonchalant, very subtle.”

In April, 070 Shake’s relationship with Kehlani was revealed by the latter artist in an interview with The Face. The next month, the couple put their relationship on display in Kehlani’s “melt” video. In a subsequent Instagram post, Kehlani described the visual as “a true story.”

“Skin and Bones” is from the rapper-singer’s most recent studio album, You Can’t Kill Me, along with the other singles “Web” and the Christine and the Queens-assisted “Body.” Other highlights include “Medicine,” “Cocoon” and “Invited.”

Fans of the artist otherwise known as Dani Moon might recall that the last time she was on Fallon in October 2020 marked her very first solo performance on late night TV, when she ran through both the then-unreleased “History” (which made the cut for the You Can’t Kill Me tracklist) and “Guilty Conscience” from her 2020 debut LP Modus Vivendi.

Between albums, the former Consequence Artist of the Month contributed “Perfect Weapon” to the Blade Runner Black Lotus Original Television Soundtrack, and also collaborated with a wide variety of other artists on one-off tracks, including Madonna (“Frozen” with Sickick), NLE Choppa (“Lose My Cool”), GENER8ION (“Neo Surf”), and 070 Beheard (“Said”).
