Champagne Rice Krispie Treats for the Perfect Party Favor

When we discovered the ridiculously cute & cool Rice Krispie stylings of Jessica Siskin’s Mister Krisp, our collaborative radar went into overdrive. While a peek at her Instagram proves the possibilities are endless (we’re talking everything from cheeseburgers to dreidels!), we landed on this sweet gem that’ll put a little snap & crackle into your New Years champagne pop. Uncork your kitchen craftiness and say cheers to a delicious and creative 2014!

To create: Melt 3 tablespoons of butter over low heat in a  saucepan, then add 4 cups of  mini marshmallows and 15-20 drops of  green food coloring. Stir until completely melted. Remove from heat, then add in 6 cups of  Rice Krispies cereal and stir until well coated. Scoop the mixture into a greased  pan and mold into a bottle shape as soon as possible. (P.S.- butter up your hands for smoother molding.)

To create the label: Cut strips of yellow  Fruit Roll-Ups with  scissors. Once cut, place them onto the marshmallow treat, then press down. Cut smaller strips of red Fruit Roll-Ups for the ribbon. Cut off excess Fruit Roll-Ups with a  sharp knifeBrush ediblegold dust onto the top of the bottle. Place a small, round piece of  chocolate in the middle of the faux ribbon. Write a message in icing to finish off.
